Oldham Lifelong Learning continue to implement the Department for Education (DfE) - Further education COVID-19 operational guidance that was updated again on 20th January 2022
In accordance with this guidance, from 20th January all Lifelong Learning Staff and Learners are no longer expected to wear a face covering in classrooms and from 27th January 2022 on entry to the building, and workshops and when moving around the building ie in corridors and communal areas.
Staff and learners will continue to have the choice to wear a face covering. Face coverings protect the wearer and others against the spread of infection because they cover the nose and mouth, which are the main confirmed sources of transmission of COVID-19.
We continue to encourage wearing a face covering when entering, exiting and when in communal areas of the centre.
Previous exemptions from wearing face coverings still apply.
